Here are some of the October events that really deserve a mention, but not a whole post...
Calder got "branded" a WeBeLo this month!
He Turned 10 and was bumped up in Cubs since he completed all his Bears requirements.
"W" is for WeBeLoS!!

And yes, passed his uniform inspection!
Kaelan went on this really funny "bat" kick where he went around all October pretending that he was a vampire bat. I guess that he was getting all psyched up for Halloween, but it was really hilarious..
He asked dad to hold him upside down like a bat. So funny.
Fall is SO beautiful in Oregon, the kids are always finding ways to play in the leaves. This is on a walk home from the park one day.
I got wrangled into helping with the School Art Mural project this year and ended up being one of only two moms that painted the entire back two hallways where the large mural was going to end up. We painted for a total of 10 hours. But now the walls are ready for the mural to be applied.
This October was the first ever Professional photo shoot we have ever taken with all four of our boys. The kids loved the experience because there was popcorn and soda and a kids playroom at the studio. No wonder they are all smiling so well!
Kaelan loves his little tricycle, he wants to ride it everywhere. Even to the park, which is a little long, and full of ups and downs. He starts out like this:
But, I end up carrying it more than half the way there because he just gets too tired of trying to pedal uphill! I am such a sucker for that smile..
Levi participated once again in Cross Country for his middle school team. He was really fast this year, always placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd (out of 60+ kids racing). His final district meet was a real disappointment though. At the very beginning of the race he got flat tired by one of his own team mates and ran the entire race with only one shoe. It really slowed him down since they were running on trails and grass, no flat surfaces, and so he finished 12th... He was in tears because of how far he fell in the rankings because of his stupid shoe. I was just proud of him that he kept running and never gave up! What an amazing kid.
The Bishop saw him lose his shoe and after all the kids went by he went and retrieved it, giving it back to Levi at the end of the race.
